Regina, June 12, 2023 - The University of Regina and Conseil des écoles fransaskoises (CÉF) have signed a memorandum of understanding in an agreement to work cooperatively in supporting CÉF students transitioning to the U of R.

Regina, Monday, March 22, 2023 – Conseil des Écoles Fransaskoises (CÉF) is very pleased with the announcement made today as part of the presentation of the 2023-2024 Saskatchewan budget which provides for the construction of two new schools for the Fransaskois communities of Prince Albert and Saskatoon.
“We wish to express our gratitude to the provincial government,” said Conseil Scolaire Fransaskois (CSF) Chair Alpha Barry. "We hope to welcome students in time for the start of the 2025 school year."

June is National Indigenous History Month
Regina, June 22, 2020 – Each year, the month of June serves to remind us of the role First Nations people played in establishing our communities here in Saskatchewan and elsewhere in Canada. June is National Indigenous History Month and June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. The numbered treaties are solemn agreements establishing shared use of territories and resources in order to coexist harmoniously in the environment in which we find ourselves. First Nations people knew the riches of the land, the sources of water, the contributions of animals, the secrets of plants, the benefits of sharing and the importance of giving back to the land, long before the arrival of newcomers from away.
CÉF schools will welcome students in the fall in step with provincial guidelines
Regina, June 18, 2020 – Conseil des écoles fransaskoises schools are preparing to welcome back students and staff in September in accordance with the guidelines issued today by the Government of Saskatchewan.
The Government had announced on June 9 that students in Saskatchewan from Prekindergarten to Grade 12 would return to schools in September to continue their learning.
Saskatchewan's Francophone School Board opposes any additional budget cuts by the provincial government
Regina, March 14, 2017 - The Conseil Scolaire Fransaskois (CSF) -- Saskatchewan's Francophone board of trustees -- is opposed to any budget cuts imposed by the provincial government for fiscal year 2017-2018.
"The Conseil des écoles fransaskoises (CÉF) has done its homework and raised its financial situation in recent years through considerable sacrifices," said CSF Chair Christiane Guérette.
